PREPARING YOUR NATURAL NAILS
Proper nail prep helps ensure a long lasting bond. Follow these recommended steps:

STEP 1
Wash and dry your hands Ensure they are completely dry before beggining
STEP 2
Trim and file your natural nails Cut to your preferred length, gently file, and optionally- buff the top for increased adhesion
STEP 3
Wipe natural nail with alcohol This step is essential, removing dirt and oils from your nails ensures a long lasting bond
RECOMMENDATIONS
For best results, keep Talons dry for at least 30 minutes following application
Always wipe nails with alcohol before application > if this step is missed you will experience drastically decreased wear time

FINDING YOUR SIZE
Getting the right fit makes Talons look natural. Take the time to size properly before applying.

STEP 1
Lay out all 30 nails Place all nails on a clean, flat surface, being sure to include those that were adhered to the card
STEP 2
Find the best fitting Talon Hold Talons against each nail to find matching sizes, if you're between sizes, always choose the smaller one
STEP 3
Repeat for all nails Lay out all 10 nails you will be using and return the rest to the tin before moving on
RECOMMENDATIONS
Taking 2 extra minutes to size properly makes the difference between “good” and “flawless.”

APPLYING TALONS
Applying your Talons is an easy process. Follow the steps below or watch the tutorial video for in-depth details.
Applying your Talons is an easy process. Follow the steps below or watch the tutorial video for in-depth details.
STEP 1
Peel the adhesive The side of the Talon where the protective tab sticks out goes toward the cuticle
STEP 2
Align, press, and hold Position against your cuticle at a 45-degree angle, once aligned, press down firmly on top for 5 seconds, and again on the sides for 5 seconds
STEP 3
Trim and file Cut and shape Talons to match your natural nail length, gently file or buff the ends for the cleanest look
RECOMMENDATIONS
Press down on the top and sides of each nail for 5-10 seconds
After removing the protective tab, be careful not to touch the adhesive before applying to the nail

REMOVING YOUR TALONS
Removal should be clean and controlled — never forced.
Removal should be clean and controlled — never forced.
STEP 1
Soak in warm water Submerging your nails in a bowl of warm water for 3 - 5 minutes will soften the adhesive and help ensure your nails are not damaged during the removal process
STEP 2
Lift the nail gently Starting at the cuticle, gently work the multi-purpose tool under the nail, work your way forward with a focus on scraping the adhesive rather than prying the nail
STEP 3
(Optional) Remove the adhesive If you plan to reuse your Talons we recommend removing the old adhesive immediately after taking them off
RECOMMENDATIONS
Never rip or pull straight up.
Gentle lifting protects both your natural nails and the Talons for reuse.

REUSING YOUR TALONS
Talons are designed for reuse. After removing old adhesive, follow the steps below.

STEP 1
Match adhesive to natural nail Begin by wiping your nails with alcohol, choose the replacement adhesive size that fully covers your natural nail from top-to-bottom and side-to-side
STEP 2
Apply adhesive to natural nail Remove adhesive from card and carefully place on your natural nail with the pull tab facing toward the cuticle. With the protective cover still on press down onto nail.
STEP 3
Apply Talons Remove protective covering from adhesive tab, position Talons against cuticle, once aligned- press firmly for 5–10 seconds, applying pressure to all parts of the nail
RECOMMENDATIONS
Store Talons flat in the case after removal
Clean nails + fresh adhesive = best second wear

TIP 1
Choosing the correct size
If you are between sizes choose the smaller one. The pressure used to apply Talons will cause them to flatten/widen a small amount, therefore a size that looks small when held against the finger may end up being a perfect fit
TIP 2
Talons are designed to be cut
Trimming to match your natural nail length will help you maximize your wear time. If you prefer to wear Talons longer than your natural nail length we recommend using our semi-solid glue for an even stronger bond
TIP 3
Applying in the right direction
The nail tip and cuticle end of Talons have different thicknesses- The tip is thicker which helps ensure they don't crack or break, while the cuticle end is thinner creating a comfortable- natural looking fit
RECOMMENDATIONS
If lifting continues, switch to the next size down
If the adhesive tab touches a surface before application, or needs to be repositioned- remove and use a replacement tab
10–15 minutes after applying, re-press each Talon to ensure adhesion
